Film competition

The Regional Film Competition for young people in Swindon and Wiltshire is back!

Preloader wants your films!

Preloader screens anything new in any genre, legal and decent and copyright cleared from 30 secs to 10 minutes! The films must have been made in the wider Wiltshire area or made by film makers based in that area.

Deadline for submissions is Friday 15 January 2010.

Swindon Heat:  Monday 8 February 7.30pm at Swindon Arts Centre

Format: Mini DV tape or a full quality Quicktime, ideally in Apple Pro Res 422(HQ)

Screenings take place in local venues and the audience selection from each venue is shown again at a gala final screening - this year in Chippenham.

At the final, creative practitioners make their selection and give feedback .This cycle enables new work to be seen across the county and provides an entry level festival experience for young and emerging media talent. Local heat screenings in Westbury, Chippenham, Salisbury and Swindon.

The Preloader 2010 final will be in Chippenham on Thursday 4 March.
