Online Licence Applications and Payments

Licensing Online

Swindon Borough Council has introduced a new, convenient service which enables you to download Licence Application Forms and to make payments for your licence or registration online. Follow the link to Licence List to select the licence type for which you wish to apply or pay.

Online Payments

The online payment service is secure and easy to use. We will take you step by step through each transaction. Where the processing of the licence is not limited by consultations or inspections, we will send the licence or confirmation to you by post within five full working days.

Who Can Use This Service

You can download an application form:

  • If you are sure that you understand how the particular licensing system affects you.
  • Provided that you already have all the documents you need, ready and up-to-date.
  • Whether you are a solicitor, an agent, a business owner or the person nominated by a committee.

You should not use the online service:

  • If you are not sure whether you need a licence at all or which one you need.
  • If the policy of the Council or the fine print of the legislation bars you from making an application.
