Supplying to Swindon and Wiltshire Local Authorities

A local procurement event was held on 15th July focused on helping businesses to sell to the public sector. Held at the STEAM museum in Swindon, 65 delegates attended to hear Brian Rees, Director of Procurement at Swindon Borough Council and Riley Simms from Business Link speak on how to tender for procurement contracts with the council, how to bid for Olympic contracts and the help available to small and medium businesses in Swindon.  Attendees were also shown how to use the Council's procurement website: www.buywiltshire.co.uk
